I’ve been writing a lot lately about TFP and my desire to improve upon it. Why? It’s apparent that Time for Print is, in many ways, an outdated solution. It hasn’t fundamentally changed since the days of film and print (hence the name).
In case you didn’t see the title of this post, I’ll reiterate: “Abandoned Vail Warehouse, Scottsdale, a Wedding, a Short Film, and the Sasco Shoot.”
This sums up my last couple weeks.
I rented a camera for a wedding on Saturday. Booked a shoot for Friday to try out the camera (Abandoned Vail Warehouse Photo Scout). Got a call that the wedding was being pushed forward due to rain. Booked another shoot for Saturday (Scottsdale). The wedding got moved to Sunday (The Wedding). I’ve been working on and off on a Short Film and that was Tuesday after the wedding (The Short Film). Finished off with another shoot on this last Friday at the SASCO Abandoned Mine (Sasco Shoot).
Right?
I’ve only really finished processing The Wedding and The Photo Scout. Lots of great images from the Scottsdale Shoot. Working those next.
I have another shoot tomorrow morning. Ought to be interesting. Might have another on Saturday, too.
All of my shoots now are TFP. Doing an awful lot of it lately.
Stay tuned for more information on my new Easy Trade program.
Goodwill likes me. They don’t love me, but they like me. I buy a bunch of stuff there and I donate a bunch of stuff there. It’s a win-win. Most of my most unusual costume finds have been there.
I am obsessed with finding weird costume items for models who will eventually wear them. I don’t necessarily know the models or what they will wear, specifically, but I do know that it will be from these interesting and unusual costume items.

For this project, I decided to create a new world using story as a creative (and motivating) force. In this case, I came up with a short story – really just an origin story leading to the character “Danika.” The name means “Morning Star” in Slavic. Morning Star being the representation of beauty via Venus.
Got the opportunity to work with new fashion/glamour model, LovelyRosie on MM. She was absolutely great to work with. Did I forget to mention her amazing legs? I did. Sorry. She has really long legs. They look great. I tried to shoot stuff that showed them off.
