So I just recently did a new SASCO Mine Shoot. For those that don’t know, SASCO is an abandoned mine in North Pima County north of Tucson. It used to be a smelter for copper mining in Tucson in the early 1900s.

This heavily graffitied concrete smelter is about all that exists now.

Now it’s a place for people to shoot their guns (no joke, I went there once and there was a guy there shooting a really loud, huge gun – sniper rifle?), ride around and pretend like they’re Mad Max, or shoot pictures of half-naked girls (like me). She is one of my new Photoshop paintings from some set test photos from 2014 for some stock video I shot with a Halloween/Vampire theme.

We used some fake fangs – the cool ones that go on each tooth. 

The moon (showing the ISS in transition) and night sky star photos are from NASA.

Total time spent: about 6-7 hours over 2 days.
