So I just recently did a new SASCO Mine Shoot. For those that don’t know, SASCO is an abandoned mine in North Pima County north of Tucson. It used to be a smelter for copper mining in Tucson in the early 1900s.
This heavily graffitied concrete smelter is about all that exists now.
Now it’s a place for people to shoot their guns (no joke, I went there once and there was a guy there shooting a really loud, huge gun – sniper rifle?), ride around and pretend like they’re Mad Max, or shoot pictures of half-naked girls (like me).
This was a shoot organized by Jonni Campbell and Sarah Slaykitty. We wound up with 3 photographers.
Models Jonni J. Campbell, Sora May Morbid, and Sarah Slaykitty were in attendance. More, too, but that’s the main folks.
