So many shoots in the last few weeks! I’m trying very hard to remain caught up.

This shoot was a sort of impromptu photo meet and greet (Meet and Shoot). I had decided it’s time for me to start doing the kinds of community and relationship building I will need to do.

It’s more about how I really need to get outside my comfort level. Every time I go outside my comfort level, I get amazing results.

This is the second time I’ve gotten to work with model Sofie Kranstz. She is actually a photographer who has gotten into modeling only recently.

SASCO Mine – Smelter Graffiti

So I just recently did a new SASCO Mine Shoot. For those that don’t know, SASCO is an abandoned mine in North Pima County north of Tucson. It used to be a smelter for copper mining in Tucson in the early 1900s.

This heavily graffitied concrete smelter is about all that exists now.

Now it’s a place for people to shoot their guns (no joke, I went there once and there was a guy there shooting a really loud, huge gun – sniper rifle?), ride around and pretend like they’re Mad Max, or shoot pictures of half-naked girls (like me).
