Backyard Bikini Shoot with Sofie K

This is the second time I’ve gotten to work with model Sofie Kranstz. She is actually a photographer who has gotten into modeling only recently.

I’ve been quite happy to work with her. She is friendly, easygoing and has a much better handle on modeling than she knows.

This set was taken in my back yard. The set has a number of normally unwanted features around a pool like weeds and other bits.

I decided to use this as a design element instead. Continue reading “Backyard Bikini Shoot with Sofie K”

Photo Shoot at a Scottsdale Home (June, 2018)

Crystallina by the pool.

This was such an amazing shoot! We had so much raw talent and passion for images. I can’t thank everyone enough.

The shoot was originally a no-go for me as I was slated to be out of town with my wife. Well it was going to be easier to have me remain home due to space constraints (only room for 3 and I was 4).

Once I found I could do it, I dove in. Arranged by Sarah Slaykitty for a private home in Scottsdale (Phoenix area).

SASCO Mine Shoot 2 (June 22, 2018)

SASCO Mine - Smelter Graffiti
SASCO Mine – Smelter Graffiti

So I just recently did a new SASCO Mine Shoot. For those that don’t know, SASCO is an abandoned mine in North Pima County north of Tucson. It used to be a smelter for copper mining in Tucson in the early 1900s.

This heavily graffitied concrete smelter is about all that exists now.

Now it’s a place for people to shoot their guns (no joke, I went there once and there was a guy there shooting a really loud, huge gun – sniper rifle?), ride around and pretend like they’re Mad Max, or shoot pictures of half-naked girls (like me). Project Brief: Sexy Swim

Model: Amanda C

I’m so happy to announce a new modeling opportunity: Sexy Swim! This is the first project I’m officially attaching to EasyTrade. What does that mean? It means, this project will be used to trade (barter) service for service. Really it’s a way for me to get several models together for a single project and be able to get a good feel for the different talents I will see as a photographer from Tucson.

If you haven’t already seen it, check out this recent post: The EASYTrade™ Program Announcement. There is still much more to do for this project, but I’d like to see how it will work small before I take it big.

Very exciting. Continue reading “Project Brief: Sexy Swim”
